Setting lane state to hover or duo invade or get vision is a pretty nonexistent art in NA. The best they'll do is tp to a lane fiesta, walk to drag, or very occasionally bail them out of an invade. NA and to a lesser degree EU laners tend to just play their own game jungler be damned. He's not ganking my lane = "what the fuck is this guy doing just gank my lane". That's kind of a product of the NA soloq environment when most players are basically like that. Tf blade's biggest problem is he never has any idea what his jungler is doing or trying to accomplish. Most of these players, if the game keeps advancing and there's enough talent pool, will look like garbage in the future. Just like the vets from the early days look like complete garbage now. even if the dog and pony show of production makes it appear modern with stupid holograms and high budget sets. This game is still as if we're in the 1950s NFL at best. It's just simplistic eye ball test and crossing your fingers. Shit, there isn't even anything close to how the NFL measures players "athletically" or "IQ" wise in this game. This game hasn't even hit the 1960's of the NFL's when they started using computers for draft analysis on players. This video game might be 10 years old but there's still tons of room for seemingly "un-optimal" play styles assumed by some analysts like LS ("aPm BLeh bleh Magic The Gathering and Spreadsheet Brain."). The gunslinger who takes precise but careful aim during his draw to kill you instead of panic firing. He's the baller at the park that just glides by you and doesn't break a sweat. You can use the word 답답 to your peer or subordinate(as in rank or age in South Korea's relatively hierarchical culture) to call out laziness, inefficiency, speed, among other negativity.Ĭause he smooth as fuck because he's so good.
The word suffocating is used more figuratively and lightly in Korean expression compared (I think compared to English.) Korean uses suffocating for the situation like "It is suffocating to watch your play," "the way you talk or handle the situation makes me suffocated," "His/her personality is a little suffocating(after blind date,)" but doesn't it sound too harsh in English P? I think the Shy's intention to use the word suffocating comes from the limitedness of player's view/screen as if you are stuck in very small place/claustrophobic that gives u discomfort, and probably from his judgement on performance of tfblade being not upto the hype from youtube highlight.
The Korean word 답답 is used more figuratively than literally and I agree suffocating is the best literal matching word to use.
